May 9, 2014 - Superior Court Judge Timothy Frawley overruled the demurrers filed by California State Parks stating that PEER/ DPC's alleged facts are sufficient enough to constitute a cause of action for mandate based on State Parks alleged abuse of discretion in allowing an open riding policy.
Tierra Del Sol, CORVA and EcoLogic will immediately move to intervene in the case to defend open riding in the park.

May 9, 2014 - The OW lawsuit situation changed somewhat. On Friday the parties argued before the court and the judge took the matter into submission. Submission means (s)he is thinking about it. So the case is in limbo right now. Stay tuned for updates. -Ed Stovin (CORVA)
