Why Do You Need To Get Involved NOW!
Self proclaimed environmental groups, PEER (Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility) and the DPC (Desert Protective Council) have submitted what they are considering "evidence" of off roaders abusing the Desert State Park. Lawyers on both sides curso Power BI are able to view this evidence but the public is NOT. This information is being kept confidential. The lawsuit is going forward without us knowing what is going on. Makes it harder for us to organize, right? WRONG!!
1. Donate
100% of donations to the Fight For Ocotillo Wells goes towards the lawyers and groups fighting on behalf of California State Parks and those in favor of keeping Ocotillo Wells an open riding area.
You are welcome to donate here or you can pick your club and donate to them but now is the time and we need your donations to help pay for lawyers intervening on behalf of the California State Parks.
2. GET INVOLVED
Whether it is this lawsuit or not, the sad reality is that we will always have to fight to recreate on our desert lands which means it is all of our responsibility to take time out of our busy schedules and get involved.
How can you get involved?
Each of these off road coalitions have meetings, events, ice cream socials and desert clean-ups for you to get involved in.
A united community will be the most informed community. So come to one of their meetings and get to know more off roaders.
